A note from Ariane
Fox and Star has always been lurking around my mind in one sense or another. During my degree studies I spent a year out in Beijing, afterwards I worked for a while in South Korea and have been lucky enough to pop over to Japan too. Apart from all the usual trinkets, I also came back to the UK with my newly acquired haul of stickers, washi tapes, notebooks and pretty much anything else guaranteed to make my suitcase overweight. It was so easy to find beautiful stationery on the high street in Asia, and that's the inspiration that's powered Fox and Star Ltd.
We're in the midst of something of a renaissance in the appreciation and production of good design. Amidst the tablets and tweets, putting pen to paper is the perfect way to leave a real impression.
