Washi Tapes

Washi Tape is a type of masking tape that's perfect for embellishing craft projects and generally making life a little prettier. The "wa" in "washi" means Japanese and the "shi" means paper. You can reposition it easily, you can tear it by hand (no scissors needed) and it's even easy to write on. The big name in washi tape is Kamoi Kakoshi. They're the original washi tape manufacturers and began to develop the line we know today as MT Masking Tape after being approached by a group of artists and designers. They came up with the brilliant idea of fusing cute design with Kamoi Kakoshi's traditional masking tape manufacturing skills, which thereby resulted in the crafty item that we literally can't get enough of, washi tape.
